YUVA ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Information We Collect

Email address — when you request a magic link sign-in
Birth date and birth hour — to generate your chart reading
Usage data — AI chat messages, credit usage, session activity
Payment information — processed by Creem (we never store card numbers)

How We Use Your Data

To generate and display your Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart
To send sign-in magic links to your email
To track AI credit usage and subscription status
To process payments via Creem
To improve the app and fix bugs

Data Storage

Your data is stored on our secure VPS servers. Email addresses and birth data are stored in a PostgreSQL database. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links)
Creem — payment processing
Anthropic — AI-powered chart readings (birth date context is sent to generate readings)
Vercel — frontend hosting

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@yuvachart.com.

Data Choices

You can use YUVA without saving some readings. For relationship match features, only enter someone else's details if you have permission to use them. To delete your account, saved charts, messages, or relationship profiles, email hello@yuvachart.com from the email tied to your account.

Cookies & Sessions

We use session tokens (stored in localStorage) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Children's Privacy

YUVA is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of YUVA after changes means you accept the updated policy.
